Welcome to the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine

The Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine (DMCM) was established on 10 April 2009 (Royal Decree 167/2009) and operates at the Sant'Andrea University Hospital in Rome.
Its primary objective is to promote and coordinate translational and multidisciplinary research activities, and it aggregates professors from the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology.
The lecturers belong to scientific disciplines related to molecular and cellular medicine, diagnostics, clinical medicine and surgery. In any case, the research activity aims to satisfy the growing demand for excellent, modern medicine. It is developed in an integrated manner and is closely linked to the clinical activities and teaching of the S. Andrea Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology.
